Logan the Huge is a tortle - a huge humanoid tortoise person with a heavily armoured shell. He was visiting the Sonic Church in the alternate timeline created by the Dragon Friends, and met Bobby and Philge shortly after the death of The Fred and Freezo's subsequent escape. He stood with them when they decided to surrender to the arriving Silver Chorus forces, and gave them his underpants to use as a white flag, revealing another reason for his name.
After the destruction of the Sonic Church, he helped the Friends return the body of Patrina Velikovna to General Boroff of Barovia, who wanted to give it back to Carcosa to end the war. Logan considered Boroff a hero and imprinted on him, and at Freezo's request stayed with the General to help him fulfil his promise to find and return the missing Baston.
Logan spent fifteen years on various adventures with Boroff, searching for Baston and becoming battle-hardened, adding spikes to his shell and losing an eye. When Boroff died without finding Baston, Logan's imprinted bond forced him to try and fulfil his friend's promise, or he will suffer from "magical sadness". He made armbands out of Boroff's signature fur coat, and modified Baston's sarcophagus, joining the Dragon Friends in their coldcell engine to continue the search for Baston and return him to them.
Centuries later Logan awoke with the Dragon Friends in Hell, furious with them about the promise that cost his friend his life. Much to the others' annoyance, he easily befriended the silver wyrmlings that hatched from their depleted dragon egg power source.
He adventured with the Dragon Friends and eventually returned with them to Daggerford, becoming a full-time member of the group.
